Hi I’m Mahnoor! I am a qualified English teacher with years of experience both in tutoring and school teaching. I teach: Primary School KS1/KS2: English Secondary/High School GCSE: English Language (GCSE), English Literature (GCSE), Urdu and Law College A-level: Law Experience with: -KS1/KS2/KS3/KS4 - English England Curriculum -Students with disabilities/special needs (SEND) -ADHD/Autism/Dyslexia/ODD Languages: English, Urdu, and Punjabi No two children are the same, so a big part of my approach towards tutoring is to adapt each lesson towards that student’s needs in order to achieve their full potential. Why learn with me? I love to deliver lessons tailored to each student that are fun as well as engaging and I encourage students to interact as much as possible. I believe it’s important to make sure students are practicing what they’re taught or revising in their spare time and I am their biggest cheer leader to push them to meet targets! I have plenty of resources for activities, worksheets, homework and especially exam revision! As well as remaining friendly and an approachable person, I also strongly believe in creating and maintaining a professional relationship as a tutor. When I am not tutoring, I like to spend my time with my family, friends and most importantly- my daughter! During my downtime, I enjoy reading, painting and trying out new cooking recipes! I’ve studied a wide range of subjects from a young age! I did my Undergraduate bachelor degree in Law (LLB) and then went on to complete my Postgraduate Masters in Law (LLM) too. After some experience in the legal sector I realised I wanted to go towards a career in teaching as that’s what I’ve always loved the most! That led me to complete my teaching qualification (PGCE) where I additionally specialised in English and worked with primary and secondary school GCSE students. Along with teaching a variety of subjects, I aim to work with students professionally and motivate them to discuss career opportunities and specialisms. Whether it’s teaching Law, Urdu, Primary Education or English- I haven’t looked back since!

Hi! My name is Yazmin, and I have been tutoring for 3 years for a range of different ages! I enjoy true crime, crocheting, and listening to Taylor Swift! I studied English Literature, Psychology, French, and completed an EPQ at A-Level, and am at first year at uni:) I am studying psychology at the University of York, in my first year after having just completed A-Levels. At A-Level, I achieved A*AA and also wrote an EPQ on psychopathy and its influence on successful relationships in the world around us. Throughout my A-Levels, I developed a wide range of revision techniques which I am excited to tailor to our sessions and help you achieve success!

Furthermore, I try to make my sessions as interactive as possible and encourage my students to take an active part in conversations and discussions giving them a more comfortable environment to study in. In addition, I am very good at horseback riding, and I use to teach children how to ride. Furthermore, I have a never-ending love for planes. This may be because my father is a pilot, and I am an engineering student. I am studying Mechanical Engineering at Coventry University. I am undergoing an Integrated Master's Course, and am currently in my final year at university. I completed my A levels in 2020 in Qatar, and obtained the following grades: Maths - A Chemistry - A Physics - A* In addition, I obtained 4As in the first year of my A levels. I started my GCSE's in Pakistan consequently completing them in Qatar in 2018.

Friendly and enthusiastic maths and science tutor for GCSE and A level. Currently doing a master's in Astrophysics at the University of York and have 2 years of tutoring experience. Whilst school can follow the same routine each day, I think it is important to make each lesson different and fun whilst learning the content to help students succeed in their subjects. As everyone learns differently I believe it is important to get to know the student as an individual and tailor each session to their requirements to get the most out of a lesson. It is important that students can not only answer exam questions but understand the content, therefore I aim to help students think outside the box and beyond the standard curriculum. I strongly believe this is will help students tackle difficult questions or new concepts in the future. I love athletics and am part of a local running club where I train for hurdles. I have also been playing the violin since I was young and love being part of my university orchestra. I am also learning German as a hobby; languages have always been my passion, and I enjoy learning different languages to communicate with others. I have been tutoring maths for two years from primary ages up to A level, which has taught me a lot about different methods of tutoring and how to approach difficult concepts, and am eager to help students with any problem either through content learning or exam style practice.
