Hi my name is Nayab and I am a Graduate Aeronautical Engineer working in a Mechanical Engineering role. I have been teaching various students since I was 16 as I enjoyed teaching and helping others achieve their best. I have taught various students in different years and different abilities and have also been referred to many others through word of mouth mainly. This would be my second time working through a company platform. Masters in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University. Currently working as a Graduate Engineer in Network Rail since 2022 and also filling out my chartership application. A*ABBC in A-levels including Maths and Physics, 5A*’s, 5A’s and 2Bs in GCSEs including Maths and Triple Science.

*Years of experience tutoring a range of different subject and age groups, including Maths, Physics, Chemisty and Biology* Engineering (which includes maths and science) is a fascinating and challenging field that involves solving problems and designing solutions to improve the quality of life. I love engineering because it allows me to use my creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of science and technology to create innovative solutions that can benefit society. As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand and enjoy engineering as much as I do. I believe that anyone can learn engineering with the right guidance and motivation. I will provide my students with the necessary tools, resources, and support to help them achieve their goals. My teaching style is student-centred, meaning that I tailor my approach to the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I use a combination of lectures, examples, and hands-on exercises to help students understand the concepts and develop the skills needed to succeed in engineering. I am also a firm believer in the power of practice and feedback. I encourage my students to practice their skills regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Over the past 3 years as a tutor, I have worked with students ranging from Key Stage 2 to A-levels, in subjects including maths, physics, chemistry and biology. I have tutored primary school children struggling with basic numeracy and literacy skills, helping boost their confidence and abilities in the core subjects. For KS3 students, I have assisted with more advanced maths concepts and science topics in physics and chemistry to help them improve grades and tackle difficult material. At the GCSE level, I have experience tutoring all three sciences - chemistry, biology and physics - along with higher level mathematics. My tutoring approach has focused on filling in gaps in students' knowledge, teaching effective study habits and providing plenty of practice with past exam papers. More recently, I have begun tutoring A-level students in maths, physics and chemistry. At this advanced academic stage, my tutoring often focuses on ensuring strong foundations across all topics and teaching advanced problem-solving abilities. I have tutored students both privately and through platforms like MyTutor, Wisefox and Tutoring4You. Working independently and through these tutoring companies has allowed me to gain experience with a diverse range of ages and subjects. I find that my broad 3 years of experience has made me highly adaptable and has enhanced my tutoring skills. In summary, I stand out as a tutor because of my passion for engineering and my commitment to helping my students achieve their goals. I have been tutoring maths for over 15 years. I love doing Zumba with my daughter and also cooking vegetarian dishes from all cultures. As a family, we love to travel around the world and our favourite destination is Dubai. Fun fact: I recently appeared on a game show with my husband, but unfortunately we didn't get to the final.
