Hi, my name is Simranjyot and I started tutoring voluntarily at the age of 12. Since, then I have absolutely loved tutoring and I am truly passionate about this job. I love to make difference in students` lives and help them to see their true potential.

My name is Terri Micheala, but please feel free to simply call me Terri. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication, which I received from the Varsity College in 2016. History fascinates me deeply, and I cherish spending my free time reading books or enjoying films. Travelling is another passion of mine, and over the years, I've been fortunate to travel various countries, including Namibia, Botswana, Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Finland, Dubai, Doha, Singapore, and New Zealand. I also have a fond love for animals as well. In the early part of 2023, I completed my Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification and have decided to dedicate myself to assisting others through teaching. It brings me joy to immerse myself in different cultures and to connect with individuals from all walks of life.

GCSE: At GCSE, I am available to tutor Maths, Chemistry, and, Biology. At GCSE, I achieved 9 A* in; Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies, Digital technology, English, and, Religious Education. I achieved an A in GCSE German. At A level, I achieved an A* in Maths, Chemistry, and, Biology. Exam Board: I completed all my GCSEs and A levels under the Northern Ireland CCEA exam board (NICCEA i.e. Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment). Experience with: I have experience of the NICCEA and AQE system; at GCSE and A level, and, 11+ level respectively. I have experience tutoring a student for the 11+ exam, who completed the exam and got into his first choice (grammar) school. I have also experience working as a classroom assistant for ages 5-7, teaching them basic maths and money skills; helping them to really grasp the basics. I do not really have a preference with regards to age group or subject. About me: I am a 21 year old, second year Medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am a football enthusiast; both as a player and a fan, and, also work with 11-13 year olds as a teacher in my church Sunday school. I also play a bit of piano after achieving up to Grade 6, although this is more of a hobby than a real skill in all honesty! I am a logical thinker and good communicator; with a large emphasis on being able to understand the question and the problem and then being able to solve it. For certain age groups, I will be using past paper questions to help build technique in answering common questions and, therefore, a create a strong foundation for more difficult questions. However, it is imperative topics are understood before they are tested so more fundamental teaching will always be put in place before questions.

I am patient but firm and I believe that everyone has the ability to be excellent as I myself went from being a 3 C's student to a 3 A's student at a-level. My teaching style is to adapt to each individual’s learning styles. I also do a lot of past papers as I want you to be able to use your knowledge to be able to tackle any questions.
