Hi there! I'm Emily and I'm from the UK. Lessons with me as your tutor will be interactive and dynamic. Whichever the subject is, I will be ensuring that I cater the content of my lessons to your individual needs. During the lessons, we will be utilising a variety of learning techniques, such as discussions, quizzes and PowerPoint lectures. Alongside my academic studies, I have always worked hard to support myself. These roles have predominantly been working with children in the psychological field but also online tutoring. I have 4 years of experience teaching English online as a Foreign Language and 1.5 years of experience online tutoring in psychology and sociology.

I am currently in my second year at the University of Nottingham. I tutor A Level and GCSE English, GCSE History and 11+ entrance tests online. I did A Level English literature as well as GCSE history and english. My primary goal is to create a safe space where I can help others improve their skills surrounding these humanities-based subjects

Building upon this foundation, I pursued my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Ayub Medical College. This comprehensive medical education equipped me with a deep understanding of human biology, healthcare principles, and the skills necessary to provide compassionate medical care. Following my medical studies, I embarked on a rewarding teaching career. I spent three fulfilling years at Askari Academy, where I honed my teaching skills and mentored aspiring medical professionals. Additionally, I had the privilege of teaching at Akhter Saeed Medical College for three months, further enriching my pedagogical experience. Recognizing the transformative potential of online education, I transitioned to teaching on virtual platforms. Over four months, I contributed my expertise to platforms like FTA and Tutalearning, delivering engaging and effective online instruction in subjects such as physics and biology. Throughout my educational and teaching journey, I have remained committed to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. My diverse experiences in both traditional and online education have equipped me with a versatile skill set and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education. Levels and Subjects: Lower level - Geography, Biology, Chemistry GCSE - Biology, Chemistry A Level - Biology, Chemistry Exam Boards: My Biology and Chemistry A Levels were both AQA as well as the exam board I have been tutoring to year 13's at my old sixth form. *I tutor all exam boards except CIE* SEND: I have experience tutoring students with ADHD, autism and dyslexia at my old sixth form. Preferred age group: GCSE and A Level About me: I am 20 years old and in my first year of University doing medicine at QMUL Malta. In my gap year, I worked at my old school where I tutored AQA biology and chemistry to small groups of year 13s. Having gone through the UCAS process twice recently I also have a lot of knowledge regarding medical universities entry requirements and where might be best depending on your UCAT and GCSE grades. Some of my hobbies include surfing, going to the gym, gaming and music. I enjoy concerts and music festivals and have tickets to see Post Malone in May and plan on going to a couple of the festivals I haven't yet gone to this upcoming summer. I grew up in Ireland and moved here at 14 at the start of year 9 so if you are unfamiliar with the UK and its education system and are trying to get to grips with it I believe I'll be able to help you immensely as I went through the same thing.
