Hi, I’m Emily! I’m currently in my 4th year studying Maths at the University of Dundee. In my spare time I love spending time with animals. I have my own dogs which I enjoy looking after and taking on walks. I also love to go horse riding when I get the chance. My hobbies also include playing the tenor horn as part of a brass band. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with others and helping anyone I can! I did 11 GCSEs in 2018 and received 6 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, 2 grade 7s and an A. At college I received 3 A* in A level Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry and did an additional AS in Philosophy in which I got an a. Currently I am a 4th year student at the University of Dundee studying Mathematics on track to get a 1st.

Hey! My name is Maria and I am 23 years old. I am currently studying Dietetics at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I have grown up trilingual, speaking Italian, German and Ladin at home with family and friends. Ladin is a very uncommon language, only 40,000 people speak it. Moreover, I speak English fluently and learned Russian for 5 years (B1 level). After finishing high school I went to Australia for 7 months. I worked and travelled along the southern and eastern coasts. I have worked as a teacher for a couple of months a few years ago, with a special focus on children with learning difficulties. I can teach Italian and German at all levels, and Maths and Biology at Lower Level. I don't have a preferred student age group.

Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. I completed my GCSEs with a strong academic performance, achieving an A* in Mathematics and A*-C grades across all other subjects, reflecting my well-rounded abilities. Building on this foundation, I pursued A-Levels, where I excelled in STEM subjects, securing an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry, and a B in Physics.
