- Biology GCSE - Maths Year 7 - 9 I am a second year undergraduate student at King's College London studying BSc Biomedical Science, and achieved AAA at A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been a tutor & mentor all throughout school, and have tutored my younger sister throughout her GCSE Science & Maths. I've always loved Science, especially Biology, and enjoy studying it at university. I have also been a student who has taken online tutoring lessons during school, so I feel I understand well what makes an effective, helpful lesson and how to best support as a tutor. I love teaching, and like to create the most comfortable environment possible for my students - the best way to learn is through asking & answering questions. I've recieved awards for Biology & English in school, and I know the importance of mark schemes, exam specifications and how to approach questions thoroughly, with lots of advice to give from my own experience. Throughout school I have always had an interest in Biology, and achieved strong grades in Science, Maths and English. At university, my degree is highly specialised in Pharmacology and Neuroscience within Biomedical Sciences, and I am looking to build a career in the Pharmaceutical industry.

I am dedicated, patient and caring with ten years experience of working in a primary school classroom setting. Until now, I have been working part-time as a teaching assistant and therapeutic support staff at a SEMH resource unit within a mainstream primary school. I have also been called upon to offer therapeutic support at a similar resource unit at a secondary mainstream school. My responsibilities involved supporting pupils / students in class during lessons and offering emotional support through various one to one interventions. Working at the primary school allowed me to have a good insight of the primary school education. Currently, I work with Education First Kids Online UK, where I mainly teach young learners on a one-on-one bases. The focus is on English grammar, vocabulary, reading and conversation, as part of EF’s blended learning model. I am also a Preply English /German Tutor and with over 800 teaching hours, I organize, plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a variety of teaching methods depending on individual learning needs. I use a rage of lesson materials provided by Preply as well as other resources available. I am fluent in German (native language) and fluent in English. I am interested in artistic and creative activities, such as art, music and dancing.
