Hi there, I'm a medical student at the University of York. I enjoy playing sports, especially football and am a Man Utd fan. I love reading and teaching and teach from primary school level, through secondary school and all the way up to A-level for certain subjects. Hi there, In my GCSEs, I achieved ten Grade 9s and one Grade 8. I then studied four A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science, achieving 2A*s and 2As. In between, I also sat BMAT and UCAT medical entrance exams in which I achieved a score of 3000.

Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. As an educator, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My goal is to make students feel comfortable and confident, encouraging them to share their hobbies, interests, and personal experiences. I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Batangas State University – The National Engineering University in the Philippines. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in both teaching and the Electrical Engineering industry, with a particular focus on renewable energy. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field. Hi, my name's Roshini! I am a final year medical student and I have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and Science. I am passionate about helping students succeed and helping them enjoy the learning process. I work well with students of varying levels of ability and am committed to enhancing a student's capability to the fullest extent. Currently, I am in my fifth year of studying medicine after having done my schooling at The Henrietta Barnett School. I achieved 8A*and 2As in my GCSEs and have a good foundation and understanding of GCSE topics. I use a combination of resources, including my own study materials and exam style questions to ensure students have consolidated their knowledge of topics. I strive to create a nurturing and encouraging environment with my sessions to make students feel motivated to learn. If you had to describe me concisely, I am an adrenaline junkie who loves imparting his knowledge and learning from others. I love teaching and provide students the utmost care and attention in order to bring the best out of them and mould them into the better version of them holistically. I have an experience of teaching students of 4 years with the students ranging from being GCSE to A levels. I have taught Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths to students in both A levels and GCSE. My students have all gone to achieve 9s in the respective subjects that I teach. My classes are usually fun and interactive and not all about studies all the time, as we learn about many things besides the book knowledge in class. Other than that, because I am in university, I usually can relate to my students and understand them as I also fall under their generational demographic compared to much older teachers. I have also had experience in real life teaching, as I used to work as a teachers assistant in SEN schools in Swansea and was a SEN TA in London. I have also worked as a substitute teacher in other schools all around Swansea and in London. I have graduated from the Aga Khan School. It was an English medium school where I passed my A levels and GCSE from, with distinction. I got 3A* and one A on the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Economics respectively. Currently, I am studying mechanical engineering in Swansea university, and hope to make a difference in the world as I hone my skillset and fill my mind with knowledge.
