Hi there! I'm Alexis, and I'm known for being a bubbly and patient person. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of helping students at all levels achieve their goals and increase their confidence in maths and sciences! Lately, my focus has been on GCSE level students, where I've made it a priority to familiarise my students with the exam structure and questions as well as equipping them with effective strategies to tackle complex problems so they can approach their exams with confidence. Organisation is one of my key traits, so I often create personalised revision schedules and checklists for my new students to ensure they stay on track. I have a friendly and approachable teaching style, and so I tend build strong relationships quickly. When it comes to topics, my favourites are algebra, trigonometry, and energetics, and I'm experienced in teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, and AS in Maths and Sciences. Now, a bit about me outside of teaching! I have a passion for martial arts and regularly train japanese jiu-jitsu. In the past, I also used to wrestle (family thing). During weekends, you'll often find me immersed in activities such as painting acrylic landscapes, pursuing crafts, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. Recently, I've taken up a new hobby of learning skipping rope tricks. It's always great to have some fun activities outside of academics! I hope this gives you a friendly and engaging overview of my background and interests. I'm excited to meet and help your children excel in their studies!

I am able to tutor History at GCSE, and A-Level I am also an experienced A-level Government and Politics on the Edexcel exam board. I have experience with tutoring AQA for History A-level and both AQA and Edexcel at GCSE level for History. I also have experience working with students surrounding academic and exam stress and anxiety, I have also done extensive public speaking coaching for both competitions and increasing confidence. In my spare time, I'm a massive theatre fan and I love going to see musicals and theatre shows with my friends I also love taking time to explore my university city and getting to know a different part of the country.

I love to dance and have been doing this since the age of 4. I have taught maths GCSE for almost a year now so have acquired a lot of resources and tricks to get you the best grades. My preferred age group is Year 9+10. I have taught those struggling to pass and those aiming to achieve a grades 7+. I believe I am best suited to those who are struggling as I am a very approachable and kind tutor who never lose patience or makes students feel as though the don't understand concepts.

I am a final-year Economics student who teaches various levels of Maths, Economics and Business. My aim in tutoring my students is to build a connection and document their progress through various methods. I am very patient and adapt my teaching to different students.
