Hi there! I have over 4 years experience tutoring a range of subjects. My specialties are maths, physics, chemistry and Spanish, which I've mostly taught at A-Level and GCSE tiers. I have a BA in mathematics which I studied alongside tutoring, so I can appreciate teaching from both sides of the classroom. Much of my experience revolves around helping students to prepare for exams, and working through past papers together is an invaluable tool for this. I'm also very passionate about my subjects, with STEM I've always had a deep personal interest in how the Universe works, and I've always loved Spain and seeing how the logic in different languages works. I enjoy explaining what I know to others, which puts me in a good position to be a tutor. It's also great to see students progressing over time. My tutoring method is based around giving the student the tools they need and guiding them to solve problems themselves, rather than simply being told the answers. I believe this process helps students to learn how to think critically, and thus become more independent and able to solve problems on their own in the future. Some of my hobbies include hiking with my dog, learning languages and exploring new places! BA in mathematics

I started tutoring during my first year of university and absolutely loved it! I am a bit older now (and hopefully wiser), currently undergoing training to become a commercial pilot. I graduated from the University of Nottingham (Politics and International Relations) with First Class Honours with the Academic Excellence Award. I know how to write and structure a first-class piece of academic work (and arguably more importantly a bad one!). Just get in touch and I can help with anything you might be struggling with. Exam technique is crucial for securing the top grades and I dedicate a lot of time to making sure my student knows how to answer a question in the correct manner. Hello! My name is Hattie and I am 20 years old. I have been an online tutor with GoStudent for two years now teaching students Maths, English, Geography and Spanish at a variety of ages and abilities. I really enjoy tutoring as seeing my students progress and fulfil their potential is so rewarding.
