Hello! I’m Teacher Nest, and with over two years of experience teaching English as a second language, I’m passionate about fostering a love for learning. My teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking and creativity through engaging projects and collaborative activities. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Financial Management) and Certifications as a Professional Paralegal and in Microsoft IC3. With an experience in teaching English to diverse students, I’ve developed custom curricula, integrated technology, and applied differentiated instruction to meet individual needs. I’m also active in my School of Law Debate Team, which has enhanced my approach to student engagement and development. Hello. My name is Tara, and I am a fourth-year Dental Student at Newcastle University. I grew up in London and moved to Newcastle in 2021 to start studying Dentistry. I very much enjoy the course, and we are now starting to see patients, which is very exciting. Aside from my studies, I am the Dental Netball Captain for the University, so I organise matches. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, and the first job I got was when I was 16. I worked at my local Kumon centre tutoring primary school children in English and Maths to prepare them for the 11+ entrance exam. Since starting University, I have been an online tutor tutoring KS3 and GCSE students in Maths and Science.
