Alongside this I worked as a vaccinator for the NHS. I am a passionate sportsmen, specifically surfing, golfing and tennis. Studied at Oundle School from the age of 13 through to the end of A-levels, indulging in sports and the arts. I've used tutors throughout my time at school, to gain a deeper understanding of the subjects in which I was passionate. This gives me a strong basis to tutor and I know the varying current curriculums very well. Throughout my gap year I volunteered in a private wildlife reserve in Southern Namibia, where I learnt many skills and developed as a person. I hope to be able to help out in any way that I can!

I am dedicated, patient and caring with ten years experience of working in a primary school classroom setting. Until now, I have been working part-time as a teaching assistant and therapeutic support staff at a SEMH resource unit within a mainstream primary school. I have also been called upon to offer therapeutic support at a similar resource unit at a secondary mainstream school. My responsibilities involved supporting pupils / students in class during lessons and offering emotional support through various one to one interventions. Working at the primary school allowed me to have a good insight of the primary school education. Currently, I work with Education First Kids Online UK, where I mainly teach young learners on a one-on-one bases. The focus is on English grammar, vocabulary, reading and conversation, as part of EF’s blended learning model. I am also a Preply English /German Tutor and with over 800 teaching hours, I organize, plan and deliver interactive and engaging lessons with a variety of teaching methods depending on individual learning needs. I use a rage of lesson materials provided by Preply as well as other resources available. I am fluent in German (native language) and fluent in English. I am interested in artistic and creative activities, such as art, music and dancing. I have the desire to connect people to Nature through filmmaking but besides videography and photography, I enjoy climbing, hula hooping, wild swimming, and anything to do with the outdoors! I advocate for creative and dynamic teaching; students should feel immersed in topics they are interested in and have exciting learning experiences. I am an energetic, passionate young academic with a Bachelors in Arts and an ongoing Masters in Literature, Languages and Cultures department.
