Hi! My name is Lucia Valero and I am a third year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Aberdeen. I have taught Maths from primary to S4 level for a year. I try to keep lessons light and as engaging by possible, always working through examples and really encourage students to think independently as they are often capable of more than they realize. (I am not interested in teaching Spanish at the moment) Spanish is my first language, and I am familiar with the process of learning a second language so I am confident in teaching it. I find that usually reading and conversation are the best ways to learn a language and achieve fluidity but I can adapt to each student's needs.

Hi, my name is Roland and I'm currently a second year medical student at the University of Bristol. I was born and raised in the UK, but I am half Japanese and have spent some considerable time in Japan. I enjoy playing tennis and going swimming, as well as academic studying. I have formal experiences of teaching Japanese exchange students English and also casually teaching students at GCSE level. About me: I am completing my Physics degree at the University of Manchester and used to compete in Physics and Astronomy competitions at school, which inspired me to pursue a career as a scientist. One of my hobbies is astronomy, especially stargazing and tracking meteors during meteor showers. Still, my true passion is to make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible and use science to make the world a slightly better place.
