Math is a subject I am passionate about. I finished my bachelors degree in Secondary Education Majoring in Mathematics in Westmead International School. I am licensed professional teacher, finished a 100-hour training on English proficiency on TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) and TEFL certified. For my experience, I started as a tutor in all subjects for students from kinder to secondary students. Then I became a professor handling Mathematics in the Modern World, and Statistics and probability. Lastly, I became an upper primary teacher in Mathemagis Singapore Maths.

I am really looking forward to helping students to learn online. As a qualified teacher I worked in mainstream education for over 40 years teaching Key Stage 3 Science and also Key Stage 4 Combined Science and Separate Sciences to GCSE level as well as key Stage 5 Physics to Advanced level. I have also taught part of the GCSE Maths specification. After retirement I continued to teach as a Supply teacher at Secondary and Primary level. Also over the last year when classes were isolating at home I taught some classes online. I always enjoy the buzz of teaching and the excitement of experiencing students learning and helping them to progress with their lives. My Physics degree was from Bristol University and my MSc from Birmingham University. In my spare time I like to keep up by reading about recent advances in Science and where we are heading. As a teacher I used to run the table tennis and chess teams and would include those activities as my hobbies. So through online teaching I look to be efficient and adaptable hoping to help as many students as possible. BSc in Physics from University of Bristol and MSc in Physics of Materials from University of Birmingham. This is why I have highlighted Physics to GCSE and A level and Maths to GCSE. However in my teaching career I have taught Biology and Chemistry over many years.

Hi! I am Lyka Anne I. Gabuat, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree, specializing in Teaching Mathematics to middle school and high school students. For 6 years, I have taught math courses to senior high school students, specifically Calculus, Statistics and Probabilities and General Mathematics. I also have a short but extensive experience teaching IB, A-level and IGCSE math’ through an after-school program in China. At present, I am an online private tutor catering students who are struggling in mathematics. At present, I’m a freelance private math tutor. I like to see my students have fun as they learn new ideas and concepts. I graduated from University of Baguio, Philippines last may of 2016 and got my teaching license the same year. I worked in the same University from August 2016 - December 2022 as Senior High School math teacher.
