Hello! My name is Rosalind, and I am a Cambridge English Literature graduate and English Literature/Language tutor. I've been teaching classroom English GCSE and A-level for nearly seven years, as well as primary English and Geography right up to 11+. About me: Hi! I’m Irene. I have been involved in teaching for 2 years, having previously worked with students age 4-16 as a teaching assistant in the UK and in Spain. My experience has allowed me to develop my confidence in teaching students from KS1 all the way up to A-level. In addition, in my second and final year at University I tutored 1st year Biology students who were struggling with the jump from A-level to undergrad, helping them develop their statistical, critical analysis and exam writing skills. While at school, I was always the kid in class who asked SO many questions because I often found science and maths lessons to be a huge information overload! Thanks to the patience of my teachers and a dedicated tutor I excelled in my science and maths GCSEs and A-Levels which ultimately gave me the confidence to go on and study Biology at the University of Leeds. I strive to give my students the same patience and dedication I received in school to them!

Hi! I'm Teacher Abby. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a TEFL certification. With over three years of experience teaching ESL online and one year of face-to-face teaching, I help students of all ages improve their English skills. I’m passionate about creating a fun, supportive learning environment where students can succeed and grow. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. During my thesis, I taught diverse students at a Russian online school, gaining valuable virtual teaching experience. After the pandemic, I transitioned to teaching in-person at a multigrade school, working with students from kindergarten through grade school. These experiences have helped me adapt to various learning environments and student needs.

My passion for education and cross-cultural communication prompted me to transition from a career in law to teaching English Soft Skills and Cross-Cultural Communication overseas. I have taught in-person and online classes in a variety of countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Russia, the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. I specialised in teaching Young Learners, Academic English, Business and General English. I helped students acquire the ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English. I provided academic English instruction to students aiming for success in academic settings, focusing on advanced language skills, essay writing, and academic vocabulary. My experience has made me self-motivated and skilled in teaching students of various proficiency levels. I create personalised lesson plans tailored to each individual's learning goals and areas for improvement. I have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, which served as the foundation for my legal skills. To further my interest in justice, I pursued a Master's degree in law and comparative criminal justice, focusing on immigration and modern slavery concerns. I recently completed a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course to improve my English language teaching skills. My educational background demonstrates a dedication to both legal knowledge and language instruction.
