Hi! My name is Marjana! I am currently an undergraduate student at Aston University. I am a dedicated maths tutor who aims to make each and every lesson fun and interactive. I love teaching and proving to students that learning maths can be fun! I have successfully delivered over 300 lessons with Gostudent, helping many students improve not only their grades but also their confidence when it comes to learning and studying! I’ve previously worked as a teaching assistant, helping students between year 7 and year 11 in maths. Working in a school environment has allowed me to identify where students struggle in maths. I have planned and structured maths lessons which has aided my tutoring online. I have experience working with children of all ages, as I have a Level 3 Qualification in teaching Sports. I have tutored students of a variety of abilities, including children with learning difficulties. I aim to cater every lesson to the student's particular needs. I tutor maths from primary level up to GCSE, while also tutoring English at primary level. I also work with students taking their 11+ or higher exams. I can also tutor students who are taking Business Studies GCSE/ A-level. I am a third-year Mathematics and Physics student at The University of Manchester. During my school years, I have been looking for experiences that could develop me as a human being and this is how I came across tutoring. My first such opportunity tutoring them in the subjects they had difficulty with by explaining core concepts, which helped me develop patience and adaptability. Working with children was not without its hurdles, but I used all my abilities to stir their interest. What was truly rewarding were their smiles and the strong bond that we created. I cherished every single moment with the children, especially the instant they understood the exercises. My experience attests to my ability to tutor young people in the subject of Mathematics. I want to be a tutor because I feel that through this I can change things, starting with the young generation: I can help them discover a passion for Mathematics, I can cheer them up whenever they need help and I can be their friendly and trustful tutor when they do not know how to solve a problem. At the moment I am teaching GCSE students and I am familiar with most exam boards. My three-year experience helps me assess quickly the level of every student and this leads to a quick lesson plan for a successful exam.

With six years of experience as an engineer in a Japanese multinational company, I’ve had the chance to live in Japan, Thailand, and Germany. Chatting with people from all walks of life?
