I am currently in my 2nd year at the University of Strathclyde and I am studying Architecture. I am a leader at Guides and and in my free time I like listening to music, watching movies, drawing and baking. I love travelling and hope to study or work abroad in the future. As a tutor the main goal I have is to make the student feel confident walking in to class and any exams as well as give them a safe space in the lessons to feel comfortable asking questions as I know how hard it can be to do that in a class setting. Hi there! My name is Kristy Largo. You can address me as Ms. Largo. I have been an elementary, middle, and high school math teacher for approximately 19 years. The Philippines, where I was born and raised, has pleasant beaches with clear blue water. I came to the US to experience different cultures and to expand my professional knowledge by teaching abroad. I struggled with math when I was in elementary and high school, but I became a math teacher because I was influenced by an incredible teacher in the past and promised myself that, when I became a teacher, I would teach with empathy using a combination of fun and engaging activities. I graduated with honors in Economics from Bukidnon State University, Philippines. I earned my Master's in Special Education from Cebu Normal University and am currently pursuing my Doctoral Program at Cebu Technological University. I also completed Autism Added Authorization from UMass Global, the CTEL online program from the University of San Diego, and additional Autism Added Authorization at the University of Massachusetts, Walnut Creek. I have 19+ years of teaching experience in Math across elementary, middle, and high school to students with diverse learning disabilities at Antioch Unified School District in the Bay Area.

I am a graduate scientist with my most recent work experience in neuroscience. I am passionate about teaching as that is one of the ways in which I can impart something knowledgeable as well as learn something new from the students too. I am someone who finds learning fun and engaging, as I learn something new every single day!

Hi! My name is Beatriz and I am a 2nd Year Medical Student at HYMS. I really enjoy teaching others and the satisfaction of seeing someone you mentored excel. I am a strong believer that we all have different, unique ways of learning which I will help you find! I am a kind and compassionate person who is always willing to help! I achieved all A* at A-Level in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. I also did 11 GCSE’s, including seperate sciences and maths, and achieved all grades of 8 and 9.
