My name is Amelie, and I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with five years of experience teaching multiple subjects over a range of age groups. Outside of tutoring, I love to travel. I believe this was due to growing up in Abu Dhabi, where the cultural diversity of the Emirate exposed me to a myriad of different cultures, of which all I was eager to explore. Outside of studying for my undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, I tend to spend a lot of my free time either doing sports (such as swimming, gymnastics and netball) or reading and drawing. Whilst I love tutoring because I enjoy sharing my subject knowledge with students, I am equally passionate about helping to develop a whole new generation of individuals who are able to think for themselves and who can take responsibility for their own learning. I truly am prepared to go above and beyond to help my students succeed.

I am currently in my second year studying BSc Biomedical Science. I am eager to help out pupils struggling with science! I have developed a number of great techniques that worked for me from GCSE up to A-level . Don’t worry, you’re in great hands. I’m organised, hard-working and love a challenge. But most importantly a current student😁! I have 8 GCSE’s with grade 7s in English Maths and Science.Other GCSEs include an 8 in French and History. At A-Level I achieved AAB and D* in Biology, History, English and Business. I am currently a second year student studying Biomedical Science.

I had a great time living with the French family and improving on my French language skills whilst helping improve their English skills.
