Hello! I'm Ben Ian Neil Saguid, a passionate tutor with a strong background in English and Math. I create engaging lessons to build confidence and problem-solving skills, tailoring my approach to each student’s needs. I hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, which has equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I apply these skills in tutoring Math and English, using my background to explain complex concepts clearly and structurally, making learning more accessible and easier for students.

Lower Level: English Language Languages: English (Native), French (Beginner) Preferred student age group: Any age group I double majored in Engineering Physics and Mathematics at Southern Arkansas University. My hobbies are singing, dancing, working out, vlogging, youtubing, and traveling. In addition, I enjoy meeting new people, and I also love checking out new restaurants with my friends. Three words to describe me are social, bubbly, and friendly. I graduated with Honors and currently hold a B.Sc in Engineering Physics and Mathematics. I have volunteered in the aerospace department at the California Science Center. Additionally, I have worked on building a balloon satellite project and launching it into space as my final project in college in collaboration with NASA.

As a tutor, I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. I take a personalised approach to each student's learning needs, tailoring my teaching style to their unique strengths and weaknesses. Over the years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including primary school students, high school students, and university undergraduates. I specialise in teaching algebra, calculus, and geometry, and I am always excited to take on new challenges. I am proud to say that my past students have achieved excellent results under my guidance, with many of them scoring top grades in their exams and developing a love for maths. Some of my most rewarding experiences as a tutor have been seeing my students grow in confidence and independence, and knowing that I played a part in their success. I completed my GCSEs with a strong academic performance, achieving an A* in Mathematics and A*-C grades across all other subjects, reflecting my well-rounded abilities. Building on this foundation, I pursued A-Levels, where I excelled in STEM subjects, securing an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry, and a B in Physics. These results showcase my analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in Maths and Sciences, positioning me well for further study or career opportunities in related fields. My academic journey highlights a consistent dedication to learning and achievement in challenging subjects.
