Hi! I'm Ben, I'm a 3rd year Computer Science student at the University of Glasgow. I could talk about computers for a long time, but I also love music! I play clarinet in my University windband every week. I'm also really into musicals, and I'm a huge video game nerd even though im not very good at most of them. I have experience in tutoring both primary and secondary school level maths. I have the most experience with edexcel exam board, but I'm comfortable teaching maths targeted to all exam boards taught in English schools. Preferred student age group: Primary or secondary school age. About me: I am a fourth year Medical student at the University of Sheffield. I enjoy cooking and playing sports, including: running, swimming, netball and hockey. A-levels: Maths, Biology and Chemistry (A*A*A*) AS level: Further Maths (A) GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Food Technology, Geography, German, Mathematics, Physics. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Sheffield.

I am someone who loves to learn new things, especially when it comes to cultures and languages, so much so that during lockdown I taught myself Turkish. I can speak 3 languages fluently, (English, Farsi and Turkish) and am currently studying two languages at degree level (Spanish post A-level and French from beginner's level).

I am a vibrant and keen teacher that has prior experience of working with a range of young people. I have a passion for reading and English literature, from the classics to recent literature. I am studying English and American literature at university and have a desire to pass on the wonder of literature to others. I have completed both GCSEs and A-Levels, including English literature, classical civilisation and philosophy and ethics. I have multiple previous jobs and work experience of working and teaching children in both a primary school and secondary school environment. I am currently studying English and American literature at Royal Holloway for a three year course.
