Hello! I am a doctoral student in English Literature at the University of Lincoln, having completed my BA at Lincoln in 2019, and having completed my teacher training (PGCE) at the University of Hull. After this, I then began tutoring whilst I completed my MA in English Literature, graduating in 2022. I write both fiction and non-fiction work in my private life, being published online and in print, and I hope that I can share my love of the subject with you. I am also published in media studies and literary theory by a variety of academic publishers, most recently Palgrave, and have several more chapters due for publication in the next 18 months. I teach English, both literature and language, to GCSE and A Level students - primarily within the AQA specification, although I also have familiarity with Edexcel. Though less common, I am also comfortable tutoring undergraduate English Literature. My tutoring is therefore best suited to students aged 11 and up. For those students looking towards their exams, or just wanting to get ahead of the curve, you are in the right place. I went to secondary school in a small town without a huge track record of academic success, and so I know the kind of circumstances that people might be dealing with in pursuing their education at that level. After completing secondary school, I finished A Levels in English Literature, French, and Physics, before completing my BA in English in 2019. I then completed a PGCE in teaching English at the University of Hull in 2021, and completed an MA in English Literature at the University of Lincoln in 2022. I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Lincoln, studying depictions of psychosis in Gothic Literature.

My name is Sheryl. I am a graduate of Bachelor in English language education and a TEFL certified. Presently, I am pursuing my degree in Masters of Arts in English Language Education (MAELE).  I specialize in teaching English at all levels, including Basic, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced English, as well as Business English, Conversational English, Free Talking, Grammar, and Reading Comprehension. I also offer homework-based lessons to provide additional support and reinforce learning outside the classroom. I have been teaching English as a second language for six years and have had the privilege of working with students across various age groups, from primary school to tertiary level. I believe that learners are capable of achieving great things when they are motivated and provided with the right guidance and support. As a teacher, there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing my students grow in their language skills, gain confidence, and successfully apply what they’ve learned in real-life situations. I am passionate about creating an engaging and positive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Teaching the English language makes my heart excited all the time. I cannot imagine myself doing something else aside from teaching. I am a graduate of Bachelor in English Language Education with certification to teach both elementary and high school students. Additionally, I am TEFL certified and currently pursuing a Master of Arts in English Language Education (MAELE) to further enrich my expertise. With six years of experience teaching English as a second language, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, from primary school to tertiary level. This has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the varying needs and learning styles at each stage, which I strive to address through engaging and effective teaching methods.

Hi! My name is Danyal, I am a current student at The Norwich University Of The Arts for Animation. Before this I attended high school in London and studied film at The London Screen Academy. I am happy to tutor English from primary to high school level and Film Studies at a highschool level. I hope to have fun and engaging sessions.

I love languages! I am able to teach french and spanish in lower level, GCSE and A-level! I have been tutor for the last 4 years to people that range from 15 to 60 years old. Although I prefer working with adult students, I am also open to working with teenagers! I am experienced in the british exam system. I have been a tutor with GS for more than a year now! :) Being from Colombia, spanish is my native language. However, I speak english and french fluently and I study other languages such as German, Italian and Portuguese. As I have more experence tutoring French, I prefer students that are interested in this language. The thing I love the most about languages is how it broadens your way of thinking to unimagined borders. It's really amazing to understand people from different backgrounds and to see the world from other points of view. Besides languages, I also love creating digital art and dancing. Finally, I am an engineer and I am currently pursuing a master's in 3D technologies, I work and develop in VR! So I'm very interested in the new VR courses that GS is offering. Electrical engineering and I am currently pursuing a master's in 3D technologies such as VR. I studied french in the Alliance Française for almost 2 years before going in exchange to France. I've been living, studying and working in France for more than 1 year now!
