Hi! Hallo! :) My name is Alex and I'm currently studying Modern and Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge. I love reading (my favourite book is Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie) and learning new languages, and apart from that I'm interested in journalism, debating and going on long walks in nature. I am a dedicated mechanical engineering student at Queen Mary's University of London with a passion for mathematics. Since 2019, I have been sharing my love for math through tutoring, helping students grasp challenging concepts and achieve their academic goals. I have a diploma in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I studied my degree in Bulacan State University. I passed the Licensure Exam for Mechanical Engineering and I am currently a practicing Licensed Mechanical Engineer. I worked as a Technical Service Engineer in Copeland(Emerson) for over two years. I honed my critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills in this job. I also lectured in the College of Engineering of Bulacan State University for more than 2 years. I taught engineering courses and applied the concepts of various STEM subjects such as physics, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and calculus.
