My name is Julia and I'm a second year Dietetics student at Coventry University. In my free time I love to bake special occasion cakes and learn new languages. I am currently learning Arabic and can't wait to start learning Turkish! I am mixed-race, Polish-Egyptian and love meeting new people and learning about their cultures and beliefs. I'm so excited to start tutoring! I have a passion for education and enjoy helping others achieve their goals and suceed. Studying sciences and mathematics at A level at a grammar school has equipped me with an excellent understanding of mathematics as well as a variety of teaching methods. I am 21 years old and I am currently studying English Literature at Durham University. I absolutely love to travel and I am a qualified ski instructor and have done two seasons teaching in Canada and New Zealand. I am also a keen runner and I am currently training for a charitable half marathon. Additionally, I absolutely love literature! My favourite books are 'The Great Gatsby,' and 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' and 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.' I attended King's High School for Girls for my whole secondary education. I studied History, Geography and English Literature at A level during covid and received an A* in all three subjects. Following my A levels I took a gap year and I am now in my second year Studying English Literature at Durham University, and I am on track to achieve a first when I graduate next year.

I started teaching Asian students back in 2014 and immediately fell in love with teaching and the ability to bestow the next generation with the necessary tools to understand the "true language of love", English! I love spending time with my 2-year-old daughter and trying to teach her how to play PlayStation 5. I love spending time with my family, watching movies, and trying to get my wife to watch Marvel movies (This is an ongoing battle).
