Hello, I'm Daryl, a passionate educator dedicated to teaching English and Mathematics. I aim to connect with students, helping them understand the application of these subjects and appreciate their beauty and relevance in their daily lives. I ensure my students are engaged, from lesson objectives to feedback. I believe that meaningful connections foster a love of learning and establish independent study habits for life. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. My teaching experiences include Elementary and Junior High School English and Mathematics, as well as Economics. I also lead a small music band, teaching children to play the drums and guitar, performing at school events. Through these experiences, I've learned to cater to multiple learning styles and communicate effectively with students.

I am a 20 year-old currently currently in my second year at the University of Nottingham, which has a remarkable campus and exceptional facilities. I am fresh out of completing my A-levels and have a passion for working with students. I believe my affinity for helping said students could significantly enhance their learning experience.

I’m a fully qualified Mathematics teacher with QTS and have thorough subject and exam knowledge. I have a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Sunderland University. I have a few years of teaching experience both at classroom level and 1-2-1 tutoring. I’m friendly, easy going and get excellent results through building good relationships with my students. I have a huge passion for teaching and find it most rewarding to see children progress and excel under my guidance. I hаve а trаck recоrd оf success аnd delivering results thrоugh privаte tutоring аnd аt clаssrооm level. I hаve significаnt, lоng-term experience аt levels frоm KS3, GCSE & A-LEVEL. I hаve enаbled students tо mаximise their оutcоmes аt аll оf these аssessment levels.  I wаnt аll students tо hаve the оppоrtunity tо аchieve аnd I hаve prоfessiоnаlly develоped tо be better plаced tо deliver high quаlity educаtiоn tо all children under my guidance. The sessions I run are specifically designed for each individual student. This considers the level they are currently working at, target grade, their areas for development and preferred learning style.
