Hi, I'm Cilla and I'm a final year medical student studying at the University of Leicester. I pride myself for having an understanding and empathetic student-focused approach to teaching. As a student, I know how terrifying exams can be. I hope with my help, my students can learn to tackle exam questions in a calm, collected manner. Academic achievements: At A-level I achieved all A’s in AQA Biology, AQA Chemistry and AQA Maths with an A* in an EPQ. At GCSE I achieved 11 GCSEs all 9-7, with all 8/9 in AQA Maths, AQA Chemistry and AQA Biology. I have experience taking the 11+ myself having gone to a grammar school for both secondary school and sixth form. What I can teach: Primary Maths and Science and 11+ tutoring GCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Maths (*most familiar with AQA but willing to teach any exam board)

I'm part-Italian, part-American and part-British and I'm into all things nerdy, be it fantasy and sci-fi, video-games, TTRPGs or anything else you can imagine. Hello, I’m Rainah, an educator since 2015 with a passion for teaching Mathematics. I’ve taught students from elementary to tertiary levels, including online classes for US-based learners. Additionally, I’ve authored two books under MSA Publishing: Math Olympiad Reviewer and Elementary Algebra Workbook, designed to help students excel in mathematics. I’ve also held leadership roles, including serving as General Education Program Head and Senior High School Assistant Principal. My mission as an educator is to foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires growth and critical thinking. Teaching is more than a profession to me—it’s my calling, and I am committed to empowering my students to reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. I am a licensed professional teacher and TEFL certified, which allows me to teach students from diverse backgrounds. I chose to become a math teacher because of my deep passion for the subject and the joy I find in helping students discover its beauty and real-world applications. Teaching, for me, is the best option as it allows me to inspire and shape the minds of the next generation while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.
