Hey there, I'm a 2nd year Chemistry student. I want to share the study techniques that gave me a solid foundation through GCSE, A level and even University. A supportive environment is important to me when providing education, as I believe most improvement happens through mistakes being learnt from and changed into success. I hope to make learning even more accessible to students who may struggle with traditional wrote learning. I am currently attending University College London studying Chemistry and I attained a 2:1 in my first year. I have worked with school students on multiple occasions throughout my degree, teaching them about chemistry and gaining their feedback to make decisions about experiments. I took 3 A-Levels in sixth-form and received A*A*A in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

My travels and professional experiences outside of teaching make for an interesting and globally-minded approach to learning. I'm a voracious reader and a keen fisher, which means I've got patience for days and enthusiasm for years. I'm a qualified teacher, with PGCE (University of York) and QTS, and hold a First Class degree in Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh (Master of Arts with Honours). I also have experience as a GCSE Examiner, which helps me cut right to the core skills required to excel in your subject.

I have experience in being able to identify which teaching styles help the children learn efficently (videos, activities, excercises,games). I also have experience in helping individuals with dyslexia, autism and low working memory. I also help boost confidence and break the ice to help the students be eager to learn. Professionally, my strengths lie in helping with the 11+ and English in primary school. - Currently studying a psychology degree. - A levels: A - C, including English Literature, History and Psychology. - 11 GCSE's, A* - A, 8 - 6, including English Language, English Literature and Maths.
