About Me Hello! My name is Mary Ann Suizo, and I am a dedicated and passionate educator with a love for fostering growth and curiosity in students. I have always believed in the transformative power of education, and my goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student feels empowered to succeed. With experience in Mathematics areas such as General Mathematics and Statistics and Probability, also in Science for General Physics 1 and 2, I aim to inspire a love of learning and develop critical thinking skills that students can carry with them throughout their lives. Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing Lawn Tennis as my sports and Reading and Studying nonfiction books especially an inspirational and motivational true to life journey which help me stay balanced and bring fresh perspectives to my teaching. Education I hold a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education with a major in Mathematics. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Education, also with a major in Mathematics which provided me with a solid foundation in both pedagogical theory and subject-specific knowledge. Through my studies, I developed a strong understanding of how to create lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs, while also fostering a positive classroom environment. Additionally, I have participated in professional development trainings, seminars and workshops for the past years, ensuring that I stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and educational tools. My educational journey continues as I strive to refine my skills and become a better teacher for my students every day.

I currently live in Manchester studying Chemical Engineering in the University of Manchester. My hobbies include running, crocheting, reading and walking my dog Ralph. Currently at the University of Manchester in my third year studying MEng Chemical Engineering. I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. I have various hobbies and interests, including reading, going to the gym, and watching sports, so I believe I have a variety of things I can relate to my students on, in order to build and maintain a rapport with them.

Primary level:English , maths , science and history GCSE: Biology , chemistry and physics A-level: Biology , chemistry and physics I have experience as a tutor for students across all key stages . Particularly with lower school and the early years of secondary .I’ve also worked with SEN students in both academics and helping feel comfortable in their learning environment.I believe learning should always be fun and something students look forward to!
