My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I have recently worked to develop a student e-learning platform (www.studentgrinds.ie). I have also created youtube videos on my account 'Laura Kehoe' (youtube user ID:HmzZLwmKOZwL3SV-aONyig ) showcasing the solutions to maths exam questions for students. I am happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to tutoring sessions. Outside of my studies, I enjoy horse-riding and running.

I am an undergraduate student, studying English at University of Nottingham. I have experience with both young children and teenagers, and enjoy both making learning fun, and helping young people meet their full potential! I'm friendly and proactive, and have experience working with children with a variety of needs. Most importantly, I believe learning should be suited to the student, not the teacher! I enjoy writing during my free-time, particularly for Nottingham's student publication, and working with young people - whether through sports teams, after-school clubs, or tutoring. I studied at a state comprehensive school in London, where I achieved 10 A*'s-B's at GCSE - including a B in Maths, A's in Science, and A's in both English Language and Literature - and A's and B's at A-Level. I'm currently an undergraduate student studying English, the subject where my strengths most definitely lie. I previously studied in London while working full-time, and am interested in pursuing a TEFL to teach young people English as a second-language.

I am a Registered Psychometrician who has worked in an educational institution for several years. I also have four years of experience teaching English and I am TEFL-certified. During my first year of teaching, I became an assessor for young learners. I assess and evaluate their proficiency in the English language. Additionally, I was allowed to teach Business English to young professionals and businesspeople. I help them prepare for exams and presentations and enhance their professional communication. I also help boost their confidence in speaking. Teaching has always been my passion. It allows me to share my knowledge and inspire my students to succeed. During my free time, I read novels and watch movies. I also love traveling and exploring other cultures and trying different cuisines. I majored in Psychology at the university and earned thirty-nine (39) academic units in my master's degree in Psychological Measurement at De La Salle University. I have always been interested in studying Psychology because it is fascinating. It helps us understand human behavior, thoughts and emotions. It is like uncovering the reason why people behave in a particular way, which can ;lead to better relationships and communication. I took the board exams to become a Registered Psychometrician in 2015. As a Psychometrician, I specialize in the development, administration and interpretation of psychological tests that measure a variety of attributes such as intelligence, personality and behavior. I play a crucial role in ensuring these tests are scientifically valid, reliable and unbiased. Furthermore, I love teaching the English language as well. Language is a vital tool for communication, and it is amazingly rewarding to help others develop that skill too.

I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with an MPhys physics degree in which I proudly achieved a first with honours. At heart I am inquisitive and hungry to learn, and I love to pass on what I've learnt to those around me. My passions are science (more specifically physics), gaming, exercise and learning as much as I can In general. My background is in physics, I achieved a MPhys physics degree with honours, my masters project was 'An Investigation into Gravitational Wave Interactions' in which I created models in Python to help predict the effects of gravitational waves on the orbits of the solar system and how the orbits of black holes; matching the later to real life data. I also took physics, mathematics and chemistry at A-level. My passion and background in physics helps make me a better tutor.
