Hello, I'm Anum. I am currently a BSc Psychology student at Birmingham City University, and I have had 2 years of experience working in the field of education. During this time, I've had the privilege of working with students of various age groups and skill levels, from primary to secondary school. I truly believe that every student has the potential to excel when provided with the right guidance and support. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically and personally. I'm here to assist you in achieving your academic goals, whether it's improving your understanding of a challenging subject, preparing for exams, or honing your study skills. I tutor the following subjects from primary school to IGCSE/GCSE ONLY: Mathematics English language English Literature Spanish Biology Chemistry Physics Combined Science RS History and 11+ entry exams. A-level/BTEC subjects include: Biology Chemistry and Psychology, as well as aid with Applied Psychology coursework and exam preparation. I am also willing to help students with preparation towards their EPQs. The exam boards I have previously taught in my experience of tutoring include: AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR A, WJEC, EDUQAS and Pearson.

About me: I'm a recent university graduate trying to find my place in the world. I have worked in a sixth form college where I cultivated my love for teaching and learning, as well as supporting young people in complex situations thorugh their education. I know what it's like to be an outsider; I'm neurodivergent and I lived in France for six months as a part of my degree. I want to help others who feel as though they don't fit in to have success and joy in what they do. I have a ton of hobbies, more than I can really keep up with, including: creative writing, reading, crochet, video gaming, dungeons and dragons, digital art, video editing, singing - and these are just the ones I'm focusing on at the moment!

With eighteen years of English teaching experience within the classrooms of England I have a good working knowledge of how to help your child develop. Having been a single mom of four children I also know the practical side of life and raising a family.

I’m Daisy, and I’m currently studying English Literature at the University of Leeds! I have a passion for both literature and history, and I achieved highly in both of these subjects in my A-levels. Essay subjects are hugely difficult, and can often seem overwhelming, however I will help students to break down questions, structure them clearly, substantiate their knowledge, and most of all make learning fun. Note: I no longer teach primary!!!
