Lower level: English Languages: English (Native) Shona (Fluent) Preferred student group: Primary and secondary About me: I am highly experienced with the Engish curriculum, having taught and studied myself with exam boards such as OCR, AQA, EDEXEL and many others. I studied Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Art at A-level, then went onto to persue studying dental hygiene and therapy at the University of Birmingham. I am now also a qualified dental hygienist. I am a TEFEL Certified teacher with extensive experience in teaching English to both primary and secondary school students! My friendly, bubbly and patient nature makes me an ideal candidate for working with young people. I have worked with young children since the age of 16 whilst working in a children's club and NCS (National Citizenship Service). My hobbies include reading, art, and graphic design. I acheieved 10 GCSE’s A*- A (Including Maths, English, Extended Science and French). I then went onto to achieve 4 A-levels, AABB in Art, Biology, Geography and Chemistry as well as an EPQ research in health care. BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham I TEFL certified which means I can teach English as a foreign language

Hey! As an Economics student with a passion in banking finance and enjoys problem solving I believe I have a duty to share my knowledge and help students achieve academic success. I am happy to tailor my lessons to however students need, this includes walking through exam questions as well as explaining fundamentals and theory. I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics.
