Lower level subjects: Mathematics, Sciences, 11+ GCSE: Mathematics, Chemistry I love mathematics and sciences and therefore being able to help others progress in these subjects is something I thoroughly enjoy. I have previously tutored in these subjects both online and face-to--face and have always received positive feedback for my use of tools, my positive attitude and my ability to adapt and tailor my sessions to each student. I love to play sports (particularly athletics) and try new activities such as learning new musical instruments and languages. I am currently an economics undergraduate university student with a keen interest in mathematics and the sciences. I received A*AA in my A-levels in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry respectively. I would say I am a very logical thinker w...

Hello! I have been a tutor for 8 years with ages 4-17 in a variety of subjects including English, History and Philosophy. I am happy to teach 11+ and English for primary school students, English, RS and History to GCSE level and I am also able to teach A- level History, Ethics and Philosophy. I have worked with children through Debate Mate teaching politics and my students competed at a national level and were extremely successful. I am very calm and patient and I can make lessons engaging for all ages. In my spare time, I meet up with my friends and my boyfriend- I love being in nature! I also spend a lot of time travelling particularly to German-speaking countries to better my language. If I’m doing none of these things then I will be at home cuddling with my kittens. I am currently studying Politics and German at the University of Manchester and I am in my third year predicted at a 2:1. I acquired 3 A-levels in History, Philosophy and Ethics and German with AAC as the final results. As mentioned previously, I have tutored for many years and I am well equipped to work with children who are anxious or may need that extra bit of support to build their confidence. I also have worked with SEN children with ADHD and Autism and will tailor teaching to their needs. This is one of the most important parts of the job for me; I take a huge amount of pride in my students and will do everything possible to make them comfortable and believe in their abilities.
