SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: I have experience in helping students manage their anxiety and stress levels when their studies can get overwhelming as well as teaching students with ADHD, dyslexia and autsim. Preferred student age group: GCSE & A-Level. About Me: I was that kid in school that never wanted to have a day off! I believe education is the one powerful tool that no one can ever take away from you- and that is what drives my passion to help students with their studies. I achieved 14 GCSE’s at secondary school and went on to achieve a Masters in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. In Primary School, I was awarded the Jack Petchey Youngest Achiever Award. However, education is not whole without some fun; I have also taken part in extra curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award. I am the co-founder of the charity Broaden Out Their Horizons along with Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter. Through this charity, I flew to South Africa to teach English Literature to underprivileged children at Magoba School. My teaching method: I believe in tailoring each lesson depending on the individual's needs. I am open to using different methods and have a very friendly approach in order to help students meet their learning needs! I want the students to feel comfortable and to enjoy their learning to the maximum! I was at university for four years and completed my MPharm degree. During this time, I studied the second year of my degree at Nottingham's Malaysia Campus. My years of education have been pivotal in shaping the the person I am today.

Levels & Subjects: Primary: Mathematics GCSE: Mathematics , Chemistry (AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR) Experience : Taught GCSE and Primary Maths for 2 years Hello, my name is Pelumi and I recently graduated from a Masters in Investment Banking at Queen Mary University of London . The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am a final year Dental Student with numerous and continuous patient experience. I’ve had the opportunity to mentor and coach young people in sports such as Netball & Basketball; building skills that allowed them to thrive in competitions and develop not only as athletes but also as compassionate individuals. I am part of many societies at my university which has afforded me the chance to gain a sense of responsibility whilst organizing events and has improved my networking and team-working and abilities; including motivating my colleagues. I have previously worked as a tutor before in Maths and English and wish to further develop my skills and experience as a tutor I attened Sir Henry Floyd Grammar school for my secondary school education; studying Biology, Chemistry, Psychology & Maths Statistics at A level. I am have recently compled a Masters in Dental Medicine. I have completed several dental hygiene courses
