Hi! I’m a gap year student who has a deep love for reading and continuous learning. I find joy in expanding my knowledge and sharing what I have learned with others, as I believe in the power of education and teaching to inspire and empower individuals. So here I am, offering tutoring in Alevel Maths, Chrmistry and Biology and GCSE Maths. A-Levels: Chemistry (A*), Further Maths AS (A), Maths (A) and Biology (A). GCSE’s: 7 9’s, 2 8’s and a 7. Kirstie R.

Hello, my name is Kirstie and I have been teaching for 20 years. I have spent time both in British secondary schools and in schools in Vietnam and Singapore. My main subject and passion is the study of History and I can teach this from Key Stage 3 all the way up to A-Level. My favourite period is the Tudors and I particularly enjoy the stories of the women of this time. I also tutor KS3 English and GCSE English Language and English Literature and am very familiar with AQA, Eduqas and Edexcel exam boards. I also have experience teaching Geography up to GCSE and find the two subjects actually quite complement each other with many of the themes over-lapping. I discovered a love for geography from my love of the great outdoors – I would often find myself on the top of a mountain admiring glacial landscapes and wondering how all the features were formed. This in turn links to my philosophy for education: I believe education should be a journey of discovery that allows the learner to move forwards with their knowledge and understanding of the world around them without putting them under so much pressure that they don’t enjoy it. I believe that effort is necessary in order to be successful, but that learning should not be a struggle or something that is dreaded. I am here to help students achieve their goals and become successful members of their community. In my spare time I enjoy running and drinking coffee with friends. I have 2 cats and have been married for almost 7 years. I am currently learning French in order to pursue my dream of moving to France to start a new life on the continent. As well as my degree in History and English and Literary Studies and my PGCE History, I have a TESOL certificate. I spent a month in Prague getting my TESOL and then taught ESL in Vietnam for 2 years. Outside of classroom education, I have my Lowland Leader award and spent 4 years running the Duke of Edinburgh award at my school.

Hi, I'm James! I'm a 22-year-old Philosophy and History Student at the University of Exeter. I can tutor in the following: - GCSE Maths - GCSE Religious Studies/Philosophy - A-Level Religious Studies/Philosophy I have a wealth of experience teaching roughly 30 students between the ages of 14-18, from early GCSE to late A-Level in all these subjects. During the 5 years of tutoring experience I've had since starting in Sixth Form, I have managed to refine an adaptable system that allows me to get the best out of all of my students, regardless of their initial capability. I am patient, engaging and easy-going, and I know exactly how to maximise one's potential. When I'm not studying or tutoring, I practice in Wado-Ryu Karate or work as DJ at my local Indie Nightclub in Exeter. I am also the sitting President of the Philosophy Society at Exeter, an organisation with roughly 200 members. I've had great successes during my time tutoring; my finest hour is getting two girls from Grades 4 to 7 in their GCSE Maths Exams within 9 Months. To see my students achieve grades that they previously thought unattainable is something that will never cease to make me smile :) I look forward to working with you! Hi I’m Moaz, for me the best thing about tutoring is the satisfying feeling I get from helping students and seeing the happiness in their face, I’ll do whatever it takes to achieve this! I’m a third year medical student, I did Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Further maths, and Arabic at A level. I like to play football and go to the gym a lot, I like to keep up with the football and the F1.
