✩GoStudent Tutor of the Year – 2025 Award ✩English Subject Superstar Award – Most Nominations 2025 PhD Student & English Teacher English (year 6+) & Physics Tutor (KS1) -Preferred Age Group: Above Year 6 (Native & EFL/ESL) -Main Focus: AQA/OCR/Edexcel GCSE, AS, and A Levels -IELTS exam board In my four years of teaching, I’ve observed that most GCSE students overlook the contextual understanding of literary texts, struggle with language and structure analysis, and often face challenges with time management. With over 60 students in 2024, I’ve developed a unique program that addresses both the theoretical and practical aspects of language and literature studies. Over the past 3 years, I’ve helped more than 110 students achieve at least a grade 7 in their GCSEs. Simply put, I know what I'm doing. In addition to my expertise in language and literature, I’ve also excelled in physics, consistently achieving strong results and helping students grasp complex concepts with ease. About Me Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I recently published my thesis on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my recent research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. In my free time, I’m captivated by football, traveling, and a bit of gaming, which provides a refreshing break from my scholarly activities. ✩Valedictorian Education: PhD Candidate MA High distinction researcher: Sociopragmatics & Classroom Research ✩Attained the top position in Bachelor's degree studies specializing in English Linguistics and Literature ✩Secured the highest ranking in both Masters 1 and Masters 2 studies focusing on Linguistic Research ✩Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Education and recipient of a Teaching Diploma (Masters 1) Participation in Seminars/Webinars: • Oxford University Press' Webinar on Writing Approaches with Fusion in Mind • Noam Chomsky's Webinar addressing Modern Linguistics • Stephen Krashen's Webinar discussing Writing and Publishing • The Art of Complaint: Managing Conflicts • Nonviolent Communication • Exploring Linguistic Controversies • Conducted a seminar focused on the topic of Linguistic Sexism
