Hello! I'm Christhony Mark D. Payat, a licensed Mechanical Engineer with a passion for education. As a math tutor, I've helped students navigate challenging concepts, boosting both their academic success and confidence. I aim to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students can reach their full potential. Outside of teaching, I'm an avid pianist and chess player, hobbies that enhance my creativity and analytical skills—qualities I bring into my teaching. My goal is to inspire and support students as they grow academically and personally. I have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and am currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration. My goal is to combine technical expertise with management skills to expand my career opportunities and make a positive impact. Alongside my studies, I’ve gained valuable experience as a math tutor, working both independently and in a private school. This has fueled my passion for education, and I’m dedicated to helping students build confidence and succeed. Preferred student age group: GCSE/A-Level About me: I am currently a student at Loughborough university studying mathematics with economics. I have completed my A levels in maths, economics and Spanish and hope to help younger people who would like a bit of assistance in their studies. I also take part in competitive sports therefore I can understand the struggle of managing both academics and extracurriculars hence why I can provide support, advice and understanding in this aspect.
