Hi! My name is David and I tutor maths. I graduated from the University of Leicester in 2023 with a First in Mathematics and have been tutoring A-level students over the last three years. From experience, I can say that the best way of learning maths is by doing maths so the lessons I tutor generally involve a lot of questions which we work through together, with you the student gradually becoming more independent and me, the tutor, making sure to fill in any gaps in theory as we go along. Maths can be a very difficult subject but I hope that you will not only be able to succeed with whatever your goals are with the subject, but to enjoy yourself while doing it! First Class honours degree in Mathematics (BSc) from the University of Leicester including winning awards for mathematical communication. A* in Maths A-level alongside A-levels in Chemistry and Physics. 9/A* in GCSE Maths with 10 other GCSEs at grade A or higher.

I’m a Geography student at the London School of Economics. When I’m not doing university work, I enjoy drawing, painting, and reading books. I love watching films, and ‘Coraline’ is a particular favourite of mine. Music is another passion of mine—I’m a big fan of Lana Del Rey, Radiohead, and Blur. I’m excited to share my love of learning and help others reach their academic goals! I completed my secondary education at Barking Abbey School, where I achieved 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 8 to 9. Following this, I pursued A-Levels in Art (A*), Geography (A), and History (A), developing a strong foundation in both the arts and humanities. I am currently studying for a BA in Geography at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I am in my second year. My degree has allowed me to explore a wide range of topics, from human and urban geography to environmental and economic issues. I’m eager to use my knowledge and experiences to support others in their learning journey.

Ciao! È difficile cercare di presentarsi in poche righe, caspita! Forse il miglior modo per presentarmi potrebbe essere quello di parlarvi delle mie passioni. Amo la letteratura...penso che poche cose al mondo mi rendano felice come la lettura di un buon libro. Forse solo il viaggiare...ma andiamo, chi viaggia senza portarsi un buon libro sotto braccio? E questo mio amore per i viaggi e la letteratura mondiale mi porta all'altra mia grande passione, le lingue! Ecco ciò che vorrei offrirvi. Insegnare le lingue e le letterature mi darebbe modo di condividere con voi ciò che per me rappresenta quasi una raison d'être! E questo ci porta alla mia terza grande passione, l'insegnamento. Ed è proprio la passione per l'insegnamento, la letteratura e le lingue che mi ha portata a compiere un determinato percorso di studi che mi permettesse di fondere queste mie passioni. Possiedo difatti una laurea in Lingue e Letterature straniere ed una laurea magistrale in Filologia moderna ad indirizzo storico-didattico; attualmente sto svolgendo un dottorato di ricerca nel dipartimento di Italianistica presso la NUIG di Galway. È un percorso che mi ha permesso di entrare nel mondo dell'insegnamento, dandomi molte soddisfazioni; perché non c'è nulla di più soddisfacente che insegnare la cultura e vederne i frutti nel rendimento scolastico dei ragazzi che ho seguito. Hi there, My name is Kofi and I teach Economics and Chemistry. I am a current bussiness school undergraduate at the university of warwick studying accounting and finance.
