**SSH** My name is Rabiah, and I am a Psychology student at Loughborough University. I am an outgoing, friendly and positive individual. In my free time I enjoy travelling, socialising and creating content for social media. During the difficult period of covid, I have a found a keen interest in voluntary work, and am proud to be recognised as a lead volunteer for the charity Penny Appeal. Over the past years I have mainly tutored 11+ students but also GCSE and A-Level Psychology, English and History. I have studied English Literature, Psychology and History at A-Level, these which have expanded my writing and creative abilities. Furthermore, during my GCSE I was awarded for having one of the top results in the year group. Some of the further subjects I took were: History, Business studies, Religious Studies, Hospitality and French. I always try my best to keep a session as engaging as possible. I use varying teaching techniques based on the student’s preference and what works well. I am always prepared to give my students a challenge and provide an optimal learning space. I believe in activating the brain as much as possible in order to retain information. My feedback from students and parents suggest that they enjoy my lessons and this translates into a better educational experience. I hope that you choose me as your tutor and I look forward to success in my students.

I am passionate about helping young people get the most out of their education. I will work with you and your child to find common ground, relate their studies to things that interest and engage them, and hopefully be that one to one person who makes things "click" for them. Working within a class suits a lot of children, but isn't always the best approach for everyone. Asking questions is a lot easier when you are in a safe one to one environment. Whether you need someone to sit with your child while they do their homework, work on extra examples to deepen their understanding so they enjoy class time more, or work towards an entrance or 11 plus exam I can help. I have worked in and out of schools since I gained my degree. I am married with a teenage daughter. Outside of work I love being outdoors, walking, gardening and on my paddleboard. I have a first class BaHons in Fashion and Textiles as this was my passion as a teenager and worked for many years as a clothing buyer. I loved school and gained 4 a levels (AABB) and 11 GCSES (a*/a). Unlike many parents I loved homeschooling my daughter during covid and it made me realise that tutoring was going to be in my future

Hiya! I’m Rosa, having just started my first year at University I have found a real passion for helping students with their learning. My specialty is English Literature- having scored an A* at A level and I would love to help other students try to achieve the same results! I also have experience in tutoring GCSE level students in all areas of study For GCSEs I achieved the following results: English literature (8), English language (7), Maths (6), History (8), Spanish (9), Religious Studies (8), Physics (6), Chemistry (7), Biology (8). I am Tom, I am 21 years old, and am currently in my 4th year (master's year) studying Physics with Astrophysics at Newcastle University. When having a break from work, I enjoy windsurfing, drumming, and learning Swedish. The prior two I have done some teaching in, albeit non-analytical, have provided me with a strong sense of communication and the ability to simplify elements of the task at hand. I am fluent in English, and as said previously, I have been learning Swedish and continue to do so. I have been teaching myself Swedish for the past 3 years, and have intermediate proficiency in the language. I am a Grade 8 Rockschool-qualified drummer and have also been teaching myself guitar for the past few years, and have done some informal lessons.
