I'm a Biomedical Science undergraduate at Imperial College London teaching biology and chemistry at GCSE and A Level. My approach focuses on prioritising areas that students find most difficult. I want to ensure students are equipped with strong foundations of subject content, and becoming more confident with applying their knowledge through exam-style questions to help ensure exam success. During my education I have become more confident in grasping difficult concepts and understanding how to apply them in exam contexts, which has helped me to gain 3 A*in my A Levels and reach my 3rd year of a Biomedical Science degree at Imperial College London. As a tutor, I am keen to share the strategies I have learned to ensure you achieve success. I understand that each student is different and learns in different ways so I can adapt to your specific needs to understand what works best for you to learn effectively. I look forward to meeting you and hope I can help you along your academic journey! I have completed my GCSEs and A Levels at Herschel Grammar School. I achieved all grades 8-9 at GCSE, including Maths and English. At A Level, I achieved 3 A* in Biology, Chemistry and History and an A in EPQ. Currently, I am studying Biomedical Science and am in my third year at Imperial College London.

From bringing my study of English up to being a recent QUB English & Linguistics graduate, I also brought my love for studying English to life by getting involved in many extra-cirricular activities such as being a member of the QUB English society, participating in the Bar Mock Trial and also BBC News School Report; as well as being the English prefect through A-Level.

I am Manjot Singh. I have done secondary school in Italy. I have a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. Currently, I am doing Masters in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. As I am a Mechanical Engineer, I have extensive knowledge in subjects like maths and physics. I can teach also Italian. I have experience in tutoring for 3 years. I am a sporty person, I like playing football and going to the gym. Music lover.

I earned my degree in Secondary Education major in English, which deepened my understanding of both language and teaching methodologies. Throughout my studies, I explored diverse literary genres, effective communication techniques, and the importance of fostering critical thinking. I also learned how to design inclusive lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each student, empowering them to excel academically and develop a lifelong love for learning.
