Hi, I'm Cilla and I'm a final year medical student studying at the University of Leicester. I pride myself for having an understanding and empathetic student-focused approach to teaching. As a student, I know how terrifying exams can be. I hope with my help, my students can learn to tackle exam questions in a calm, collected manner. Academic achievements: At A-level I achieved all A’s in AQA Biology, AQA Chemistry and AQA Maths with an A* in an EPQ. At GCSE I achieved 11 GCSEs all 9-7, with all 8/9 in AQA Maths, AQA Chemistry and AQA Biology. I have experience taking the 11+ myself having gone to a grammar school for both secondary school and sixth form. I'm a second-year student at the University of Warwick, studying History & Sociology. I specialise in History and English, and specifically essay writing. Although, I am happy to help you with anything else you may struggle with, and I can quickly learn about any topic you want to work on as well. I hope I can be a good tutor to those who want my help. I currently study at Warwick University but I have also completed my GCSE and A-Level qualifications. I have gotten 10 GCSEs with English Literature being my highest score of an 8 and History following closely with a 7. I also studied History at A-Level as well as, Economics and Psychology, where I achieved a B for all three.

At a lower level: I can teach the English language, explore literature, and aid phonetic and grammatical acquisition. At GCSE level: I can teach all aspects of English language and literature, including books, poetry and creative writing. I am familiar with a range of exam boards. I can help students whom are struggling with their exams, subject matter and can teach correct paragraph formatting. A-Level (IB): I can teach all aspects of English language and literature. I can help students whom are struggling with exams and can teach correct essay formatting, discourse analysis and answering evaluation questions. Hello! My name is Hajra Yaqub and I am a medical student going into second year. I have a passion for teaching GCSE and A-level students and teaching students the tips and tricks I have learnt over the years to make concepts easier to understand and apply. I plan to use a friendly and encouraging teaching approach, as I want my classroom to be a space where my students feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes, as this is how we learn best. I also plan to incorporate a lot of opportunities to practice exam-style questions so my students can feel more familiar when it comes to exams. I have 11 GCSES and 3 A-levels in which I have achieved all A* grades. My GCSEs consisted of the core subjects as well as Business Studies, Spanish, Geography, Latin and Further Mathematics. The A-levels I undertook were in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish. I am currently a medical student going into second year in September.
