Hi, my name is Roland and I'm currently a second year medical student at the University of Bristol. I was born and raised in the UK, but I am half Japanese and have spent some considerable time in Japan. I enjoy playing tennis and going swimming, as well as academic studying. I have formal experiences of teaching Japanese exchange students English and also casually teaching students at GCSE level. I have been with GoStudent for almost a year, teaching over 50 lessons to students. I have 11 GCSE's which are grade 9, including maths, english and all 3 sciences. I did 4 A Levels which resulted in me getting an A* in Maths and Chemistry and an A in Biology. I would like to offer tutoring for Maths, Biology and Chemistry for GCSE, and Biology and Chemistry for A Levels.

I am currently in my 2nd year at the University of Strathclyde and I am studying Architecture. I am a leader at Guides and and in my free time I like listening to music, watching movies, drawing and baking. I love travelling and hope to study or work abroad in the future. As a tutor the main goal I have is to make the student feel confident walking in to class and any exams as well as give them a safe space in the lessons to feel comfortable asking questions as I know how hard it can be to do that in a class setting.
