Preferred student age group: Any/GCSE About Me: Hi, I'm a 20 year old trainee science teacher at a High School in South Devon! Next year I am going to the University of Exeter to study sports science, after taking a few years out of education due to COVID. At GCSE level I got predomantly 8's and at A levels I got awarded ABB from the government (though if I took the exams I would have gotten higher). Outside of education I love anything to do with sports, whether that be playing them or just watching them. I am a avid gym goer and used to be a Great British athlete when I was 14-16! Now however, I just casually play sports for fun, with my favourite sports being rugby, swimming and waterpolo. Also in the Summer, I love to spend most of my time down the beach surfing!

I have taught over 2000 sessions with Go Student Subjects : English, History, Religious Studies, Geography, Arts and Photography KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and GCSE My name is Alicia and I am delighted to be teaching English, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Arts and Photography for Go Student. I am a recent Masters graduate and a passionate educator. I studied a Bachelor of Arts and since I have three years of experience working as a visiting practitioner/lecturer for BA students at University of the Arts, London. I am currently working for Role Models as a course leader teaching life skills to children aged 3-15 across the world. I believe that every child is a different type of learner and their academic and personal growth is best when they nurture their individual passions. They are capable of learning anything , they simply need to be given the tools and skills to pursue it. Therefore it is vital for children to have dedicated mentors who support them through the different stages of their journey. I am passionate about demonstrating and encouraging students to explore, discover, and cultivate their strengths both academically and creatively. I am a Masters graduate and I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Magazine Journalism and publishing . Since graduating I have had three years of experience working as a visiting practitioner/lecturer for BA students at University of the Arts, London .

I studied Mathematics at University and I have currently graduated from university. My hobbies are reading books, playing piano, playing sports and joining societies. I have been teaching students for more than a year now and I enjoy being a tutor because sharing my knowledge and helping students improve in mathematics makes me happy. I have completed my GCSEs in UK and achieved great results in all subjects. I also studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics A level at college and graduated studying Mathematics at University. I recently completed my third year at university and I enjoy Mathematics a lot.

I am an Undergraduate student studying (BA) Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Manchester. I am outgoing, patient and enjoy learning beyond the scope of my module. I have received tutoring in the past. Therefore, feel I have the ability to share these skills and lessons with prospective tutees.
