As a Diagnostic Radiographer with a first-class honours degree in my Bachelor of Science, I understand the importance of tailoring my teaching methods to suit the needs of students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD. I am patient, empathetic, and committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development for all students. I am experienced in working with students with learning difficulties and am skilled at identifying their strengths and weaknesses, developing strategies to overcome challenges, and providing the necessary support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential. I believe that every student has the right to access education that meets their individual needs, and I am committed to ensuring that all of my students receive the support and resources they need to succeed With extensive experience in tutoring for SATS, GCSE, A-Level, and entrance exams such as 7+, 11+, and 13+, I have a deep understanding of the skills and knowledge required for success in these exams. I am skilled at identifying areas of weakness and developing strategies to overcome them, and I work closely with students and their families to create a personalised plan for success. Whether students need help with specific subjects or are looking for more general support and guidance, I am here to help. My goal as a tutor is to empower students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. I am excited to work with students of all ages and backgrounds, and I am committed to providing the highest quality of education and support possible.

I'm literally so overjoyed to have had the amazing opportunity to join GoStudent as a tutor back in April 2023 and I just wanted to elaborate further on my academic and in addition extracurricular skills which have equipped me greatly to be able to shine a light on my own capabilities as well as my weaknesses at this time! I think that I have developed my communication skills via group work with the rest of the tutors and programme coordinators and also have had the privilege to really just go into further detail about what actually makes me tick and I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been in terms of my development and progress thus far. But how about he excitement of sharing a wonderful session with my tutees? We usually discuss the relevance of outside-of-the-box thinking and how phenomenal it is when the student and their loved ones get to choose what will happen during the lesson itself and also set the standards regarding the content to be covered so the sessions are usually quite fun and engaging to be honest! :-)

I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Chemistry at the University of Leicester. Throughout my studies, I have seen how hard learning can be. I hope to help students build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of their subject area so they can reach their full potential during exams. I aim to base my teaching around individual students and their needs. I would like to focus on exam question practice using techniques that helped me through my studies.
