Hi! I’m Jianne, and I’m excited to guide you through Math, Science, and English. With three years of high school teaching experience, I’ve helped students tackle complex problems, explore scientific concepts, and improve their English skills. In Math, I’ll help you see numbers as useful tools and personalize problem-solving approaches. For Science, we’ll engage in fun activities to explore how things work. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, from a state university, consistently earning a place on the Dean’s List. I’ve completed several teacher training programs, which have enhanced my teaching methods and lesson design skills. motivated 2nd year Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine student at the University of Nottingham, having achieved A*/9/A in the sciences and math at both GCSE and A-level, I love helping people and watching them succeed is extremely rewarding. In my spare time I like watching and playing chess, as well as playing basketball. I went to Colchester Royal Grammar School during my A-levels, where I took 4 A-level subjects (Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics) and achieved A*/A in all four. During my time there, I have also volunteered to tutor GCSE biology to lower grade students, and recently have also joined another tutoring agency called Get Further, which aims to help disadvantaged students in further education colleges reach core functional GCSE grades like Maths and English in order to move to higher education, improving issues like social mobility
