GCSE and A levels: Biology Exam Board Experience: Cambridge, Edexcel, IMAT Languages: English, Urdu/Hindi Preferred student age group: GCSE About me: My name is Hannan, and I am in my fourth year of medical school in Italy. I am excited to teach you biology. The subject of biology is very interesting and arguably the most influential subject you will study. This is because it allows us to gain knowledge about ourselves, our health, and our environment. I have taught biology for around 6 years, and I am looking forward to making biology engaging and fun for you. My teaching styles include explaining topics as well as demonstrating concepts through visuals (images). When I write on my iPad, I share the screen with the students so they can see what I am writing and get a better understanding of the concepts. One of my hobbies is traveling and learning about other cultures. As well as traveling to twelve countries, I lived and studied in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Malaysia, Poland and Italy. Also, I love extreme sports like Bungee jumping and cliff diving. I also enjoy aerial photography as well. My educational experience includes GCSEs, A levels, and the IMAT, after which I began my medical studies in Italy. My teaching experience, in total, is six years. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught students from lower levels to advanced levels, and I have also instructed IMAT and BMAT students. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of giving seminars on medical ethics at my university.

Hi everyone! My name is Connor, I am a PhD candidate in Cardiovascular Disease, Licentiate of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and the student representative for the Faculty of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience (PPN) at the University of Bristol. In my spare time, I am often walking my two dogs and cat (yes, you did read that correctly), tending to our small, modest garden or brushing up on my paintwork. My tutoring methods are highly individualistic and learner-centred: it is all about you and your aspirations, as it rightfully should be. As a previously undiagnosed and unsupported learner with ADHD, growing up in an isolated community and later, becoming a full-time carer, I frequently heard that "further study isn’t for people like me". After achieving First-grade classifications in my BSc in Biomedical Science, MSc in Pharmacology & Drug Development and the IBMS President's Prize for outstanding achievements, I beg to differ. I am now confident that no tutee should ever feel as if further study "isn't for people like them". I can personally testify that learning does not have to be a painful, slow and frustrating experience it is frequently portrayed as. Hello, my name is Eytan, I’m currently a student in my second year at the University of Bristol studying a 4 year degree in physics with computer science. I’ve loved maths and physics all my life, and after my masters I am hoping to target an industry involved with quantum computer science. I went to Alleyn’s school in london for sixth form. I graduated with 11 GCSEs and 4 A levels. The subjects I took at A levels were maths, further maths, physics and chemistry and I was able to achieve 2 A*s in maths and further maths, and 2 As in the sciences. I’m now currently studying a 4 year degree at the Univeristy of Bristol in physics with computer science.
