I am a university law student who has previously achieved top grades in maths, sciences, psychology and English studies. I am a firm believer in encouraging children to achieve their potential by taking a fun and most importantly, patient approach to teaching. I tailor my sessions to fit the specific needs of each child and take a positive approach to teaching each student. I attended Northampton high school, where I took my GCSE's achieving grade 9(A*) in English lit and language, 8 in mathematics, 9 in Biology and an 8 in Chemistry and Physics. Afterwards I attended Royal Latin school where I sat my A-levels. I achieved A* in psychlogy and English literature and an A in A level biology. After this I was accepted into Birmingham law school where I am now studying LLB law. I have over 3 years experience as a tutor.

Hi! I am a first-year undergraduate student studying Applied Medical Sciences at UCL. I studied the IB curriculum at a boarding school, as previously I lived in Canada for 5 years. Living in Canada I played a lot of winter sports and due to this, I love skiing and figure skating. However, since I am living in London I now play volleyball and tennis professionally. I am half Japanese (my mom's side) and half French (my dad's side), therefore, I speak English, Japanese and French fluently but I was born in London. I have lived not only in Canada and the UK but Japan as well! I love all things Math and Biology and I cannot wait to get to know you!

Lower level: Mathematics GCSE: Mathematics and Statistics A Level: Mathematics and Statistics Higher Level: Mathematics and Statistics Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC Languages: English (native speaker) Preferred student age group: Any Tutoring Experience: I have been a tutor with GoStudent since March 2022 and have tutored students with a variety of different skill levels. One student was able to pass his foundation paper after multiple attempts. Another student did so well ina school test that he moved up from doing the foundation paper to the higher paper and one other student recieved the required level for his first choice of university. About you: I'm a PhD graduate and have experience teaching at a wide range of ages. I have a keen interest in films and play bridge. I have even played bridge for England. I have both a Masters degree and PhD from the University of Sheffield in mathematics. While at university I assisted in running tutorials for undergraduate students. As an assistant demonstrator I led classes through an example question at the front while encouraging them to take part in working through the problem together. I also answered any questions they may have had individually. For certain modules I marked the students’ homework.
