I’m Luci, a recent maths graduate from the University of Oxford. I’ve been tutoring all ages and abilities for over five years, ranging from helping secondary school students to adjust to their pre-GCSE workload, to A level, admissions tests and interview practice for 16 to 18 year olds. I tutor primary school, GCSE and A Level maths. I have experience with children hoping to increase their grade to a high pass, but have also worked on summer schools with students aiming to achieve top A level grades and study maths degrees at prestigious universities. After working as a teacher in Spain on a two month summer school, I really hope to work as a maths teacher abroad in the future! I’m an enthusiastic and approachable tutor with a passion for learning. Please note that I am currently only taking on A-level mathematics students I’m currently working towards a TESOL qualification, enabling me to teach all around the world. Je m'appelle Chloé (my name is Chloé) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!
