I am 18 years old and am taking a gap year, looking to study Mathematics at Oxford. Outside of academics, I love to play sports, especially football and tennis which I play for local clubs. Hi there my name is Dan and I am looking to help people when it comes to learning English and History. I am 30 years old and I have a wide breadth of experience from a career that has spanned multiple roles in a variety of sectors from teaching assistant and one-to-one tutoring, all the way to construction and freelance journalism. I want to help people meet their own personal goals and what with English being so ubiquitous, it seems a grasp of at least the basics is an essential part of anyone's toolkit. My teaching style is somewhat informal with a great emphasis on what particularly interests my student because, from my experience, interest cannot be imposed on someone, it must be nurtured and addressed on the individual's terms.
