With over 60 students in 2024, I’ve developed a unique program to support them both theoretically and practically in their language and literature studies. Simply put, I know what I'm doing. Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I recently published my thesis on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my recent research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. Hello! My name is Maryam and I am a student currently studying Medicine at the University of Exeter. I owe my accomplishments purely to the teachers that have taught me in secondary school for having faith in me and making me own my learning style. I sincerely believe that every person has the potential to do great things if inspired by a good teacher. I only hope to genuinely touch the lives of students and encourage them to be great. My approach to teaching involves being patient and tailoring my lessons to best suit the pupil. I believe in teaching according to the pupil's needs. My favourite subject during A' levels was Biology and I am hoping to pass on that love to willing students!

I'm a postgraduate and researcher who is passionate about Sociology and wants other students to become passionate as well!I think it's such a broad subject so everyone can find something that interests them! Outside of working and tutoring I have a huge love for creative hobbies such as books, reading, film, tv and theatre I have a BA in Sociology (1st class), during my education I specialised in Race & Ethnicity, Gender & sexuality, Culture & Identity, Research Methods and many other areas. I also have an MSc in Public Sociology, in which I specialised in the same areas as above but also social media, social activism and social policy. Also I am a qualified Equality and Diversity professional, I have a Level 2 and 3 qualification in Equality and Diversity and I also have a Level 2 in LGBT Inclusion in the workplace. This is something I continue to be passionate about and I am currently working towards my next level. Equality and Diversity is also my full time job outside of tutoring.

Hi, my name is Kayleigh and I am from Birmingham, UK. I am a University graduate with both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Law. I love to teach as I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and to succeed in education. I would love to be the one to help you achieve your full potential. I also love to read both fiction and non-fiction and I like to write short stories. My other hobbies include singing, travelling, painting and learning new languages. I received a 1st class degree in Undergraduate Law and a Distinction in Master's Law. I have also completed the Bar Practice Course, which involves advocacy training and drafting legal documents. I have worked in the legal sector since 2017. At A-Level I studied Psychology, Maths and English and I attended a state school in Birmingham from which I graduated with 18 A*-C GCSE's and the award of pupil of the year. At University I received two awards for receiving the highest results in criminal law and company law.
