I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is about enjoyment and practicality. I enjoy helping people succeed and ultimately seeing people become more confident within themselves. My mission is to make our lessons feel less like a chore and more like a fun challenge. We'll use games, real-life examples, and collaborative activities to make even the trickiest topics click. When I'm not teaching, I love to get out into nature for a hike or take photos, which reminds me that the world is full of beautiful patterns, just like math. I'm a licensed professional teacher and TEFL-certified educator with a degree in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics. With over seven years of experience in the classroom, I've developed a strong foundation in teaching strategies that make learning accessible and fun for every student. My name is Liezle. I am currently pursuing a career in science as a trainee laboratory assistant within the biochemistry and chemistry fields. Additionally, I’ve run my own business, taught middle school in Asia, and for a few years exercised my creative muscle as a fashion assistant. Anything outdoor involving wine and food with a friend, or a lazy day at the ocean or hanging around in a shopping mall is a good day. I truly love science. I am passionate about learning new things and applying my knowledge to real-world problems. I am always eager to collaborate with others and contribute to the advancement of scientific research, testing and analytical thinking! I am a 3rd year student at the University of South Africa; I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry and chemistry. I have also gained valuable experience as a general science educator for a few years, where I taught students within intermediate phase, in the chemistry, physics and biology disciplines. I am also embarking on a one-year laboratory assistant trainee program.
