As a journalist with a deep passion for teaching, I've dedicated the past seven years to guiding a diverse group of teenagers and adults on their Spanish language journey. In this role, I've honed my ability to effectively impart all four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. My commitment to excellence has resulted in a strong reputation for facilitating successful Spanish language acquisition among my students. As an experienced editor, I've honed my skills by refining texts for various platforms, including blogs, magazines, and social media. In my role as an Assistant Professor, I've gained extensive academic experience. I'm a fun and active individual that likes sports and other physical activities. Just started my second year in my degree apprenticeship in data science with Airbus UK and some of my favourite hobbies include: Basketball, Cricket, movies, travelling and gaming. Attended Broughton Fields primary school when I first moved to the UK in 2011, and then went on to complete my GCSEs and A levels at Oakgrove Secondary School in Milton Keynes. Achieving high grades in both GCSEs and A levels, having done IT, Business and Mathematics in A levels.

My name is Jason. I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and motivated and understand that every student faces challenges in their own way, so I always try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves further. Tutoring has taught me not only how to guide others academically but also how to encourage resilience and independent thinking. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy cooking and sports, which often inspires the way I teach and connect with learners. My goal as a tutor is to help students see that with the right approach and mindset, they are capable of achieving far more than they might believe and make it a more enjoyable experience. I've had past experience as a tutor supporting GCSE students in Maths and Chemistry. During my time at St Olave's Grammar School, I discovered a passion for helping others learn by tutoring younger students, both one-on-one and in small groups. I focused on breaking down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and tailoring my explanations to match each student’s learning style. This approach helped my students improve their grades, develop stronger study habits, and build the confidence needed to succeed in their exams. I have finished studying A levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry which has deepened my knowledge and strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas in an accessible way. My specialisations are in Maths and Chemistry, where I particularly enjoy guiding students through problem-solving techniques, exam preparation strategies, and practical applications of theory.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.
