I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. I am passionate about making learning more fun for my pupils because that way they'll learn better. I am very good at explaining difficult concepts in different ways so that all students understand. I did A Levels in Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA), Economics (Edexcel). I am in my third year of Biotechnology BSc (Hons) and have studied a variety of modules during my studies that equiped me with relevant knowledge that will allow me to stretch my students who want to know more about science. I help my students reach their maximum potential by focusing on building the skills that they will need to succeed in exams. Exam skills are often the downfall of even very intelligent students. Exams are stressful and unnatural enviroments, but by practicing all types of questions together, my students have gone on to achieve grades that they would not have thought possible.

In my free time, I enjoy playing cricket, going to the gym, playing the guitar and going out with mates. For me, Maths has always been something I've been very passionate and I saw myself taking more and more interest in it going from GCSEs to my A-Levels and taking a maths heavy subject at university in the form of Bsc Economics. For my A-levels especially, I had to carry them out over lockdown meaning a lot of learning by myself. This encouraged me to try multiple ways of understanding mathematical concepts which ultimately led to me achieve the highest possible grades in Maths and Further Maths. Throughout my years of tutoring, I aim to incorporate these learning styles to my various students and finding out which style best suit them.
