I'm a second year physics student at the University of Warwick with a passion for sharing my knowledge with others! I enjoy learning all sorts of things not just physics and science related and I want more people to enjoy learning like I do. In my free time I enjoy hiking and rock climbing. I attended John Hampden Grammar School and completed 11 GCSEs achieving grade 9s in 8 subjects. I then studied Maths, Physics Further Maths and Chemistry at A-Level achieving an A* in all of them. I now am in my second year of a MPhys degree at the University of Warwick.

Hi, I’m James Farrow and I am 18 and studying at LSE. My course is pretentiously named International Social and Public Policy with Politics and it encapsulates my adoration for all things maths, politics and economics and I would love the opportunity to pass on my interests to others. I tutor GCSE Maths and A-level Politics Exam board experience: Edexcel and AQA I have experience tutoring KS3 and sixth-form (11-18) My main aims as a tutor are to engage students with content that challenges them in a rewarding way, but also connect them to content that facilitates a change in their mindset. My hobbies range from poker and chess to schooling my friends at the pool table. They would say I’m competitive but that’s an advantage as it means I strive for greatness and even I fail the process and its lessons are invaluable. To grow academically requires set-backs and knowing how to respond appropriately is vital. That along with a quality education is what I am to instil in your student. I’m a uni student at the university of Nottingham who loves to help others by using my own education experiences to do so. I consider myself outgoing and I love to meet and talk to new people in all contexts. I like to think that I am a confident and hard working person who is able to convey ideas across and explain things clearly. These skills and attributes, I feel make me a great fit for being a personal tutor. My hobbies include sports such as football, skiing and motorsports amongst many others, as well as travel and generally anything car related. I am currently at the university of Nottingham studying geography with business. For my A-levels I studied geography, government and politics and music. I found these subjects very helpful in gaining a broad knowledge in various disciplines. Both geography and politics are subjects which allowed me to develop points effectively and convey a compelling argument, as well as widening my scope of knowledge. I think my academical past will aid me greatly in helping others with their studies.
