About me

I'm Joe a, final year politics student at the Univeristy of Liverpool. During my time at university and before I've enjoyed tutoring originally only in person but for the last three years with GoStudent, aside from this, I'm currently involved with multiple societies such as the Ski, Badminton and Pool societies. Moreover, my interest in politics and social sciences is not confined to my degree, I enjoy reading on these topics outside of the University reading list, particularly history. Through this variety of interests, tutoring is something which simultaneously benefits from them and aids them by expanding my own understanding of these topics. Therefore tutoring is more akin to a hobby than a job for me due to my enjoyment of it. Throughout, my academic career I have enjoyed a wide ra...

Lower Level: Maths GCSE: Maths A-Level: (Maths, Currently brushing up on the syllabuses) Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexel, 11+, Common entrance Languages: English Preferred Student age group: Any I am an Electronic Engineering Graduate from the University Of York, I used to struggle with maths but turned myself around to get 91% in my University Mathematics exam and enjoyed helping others to do the same (hence why I'm now on this site!). Maths can sometimes seem really complicated, but it all makes sense I promise! Understanding it just requires the right approach for yourself and self confidence. My hobbies include making music, extreme sports and coding for visual arts. Im also learning German at the moment. I hold a masters in Sound Design and Audiovisual Practice from the University of Glasgow. This allowed me to combine my interests and creatively employ skills in Maths and Electronics in various projects. This experience really showed me that even though some skills may seem so far removed from one another, being unrestricted in learning, leads to exciting possibilities that may only reveal themselves in time.
