Hi, my name is Roland and I'm currently a second year medical student at the University of Bristol. I was born and raised in the UK, but I am half Japanese and have spent some considerable time in Japan. I enjoy playing tennis and going swimming, as well as academic studying. I have formal experiences of teaching Japanese exchange students English and also casually teaching students at GCSE level. I have been with GoStudent for almost a year, teaching over 50 lessons to students.

I am a 3rd year medical science student at De Montfort University. My favourite subject was Maths. I aim to become a physician's associate after completing my masters and working in the paediatrics department sometime in the future. I teach differently catering for each student differently and to create a positive comfortable learning experience!

Hi, and welcome to my profile. For about 4 years now and with 3000+ hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for Gcse and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TESOL) which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. I love traveling, cooking, reading novels, and playing with my cat Nora. Teaching is also something I have come to love as a hobby and very well enjoy.
